Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett ‘day to day’ with feet injury

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett underwent an MRI on Monday after re-aggravating an ongoing injury in both feet during Sunday’s game vs. the New York Giants.

Garrett sought attention in the medical tent and worked with trainers during the Browns Week 3 loss against NY. He appeared to be doubled over in pain, as well as needing assistance walking off the field at one point, and was also seen limping after the game. Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski said that he was still waiting for an updates, but Teller is ‘day to day’ and a possible IR candidate.

Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Yea, said of the injury (via ESPN): “It’s more than just the foot. It’s multiple things going on. So, I mean, if I think the foot’s feeling good or feeling better, it’s one thing or another. So it’s kind of just feeding into each other right now, and nothing’s sitting right because nothing has time to heal because I’m leaning on something else and I’m compensating here to make something hurt there. It’s just been, like I said, a cycle.”

Garrett added that he may need a procedure “further down the line,” but said he will to play until he gets answers on the nature of the injury: “I’m not concerned about something I don’t know about. So, get the results and move from there. At this point, I’m going to continue to move as I have and look forward to playing the next game until someone tells me otherwise.”
